It's no secret that Calgary is growing, and a prime example of this growth is the upcoming Heritage-MacLeod Apartments development in southwest Calgary. With 501 units set to be completed by 2028, this project is just one of several apartment complexes popping up around key CTrain stations.

New Apartment Boom Hits Calgary’s Southwest: What Does It Mean for You?

Located at the intersection of Heritage Drive SW and Macleod Trail, the Heritage-MacLeod Apartments promise a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites, along with some dens. The development includes underground parking, an exclusive resident lounge, a 24-hour fitness centre, and an outdoor swimming pool. Pet owners will also enjoy amenities like an off-leash dog run and a dedicated pet washing station.

While the development is expected to bring more housing options to the area, it's worth noting that Calgary's rental market has been tight for some time. As more units come online, it could potentially ease some of the pressure on landlords and tenants. However, it's important to keep an eye on the market to see how these new units will impact rental prices and availability.
