One of the most iconic landmarks in Bangkok, the Grand Palace is a must-visit for anyone interested in Thai history and culture. It's a sprawling complex of temples, halls, and buildings that has been the official residence of the king and queen of Thailand since 1782.

The palace is closed for repairs today, but you can take a tuktuk tour of the city instead. These tours will give you a glimpse into the daily life of Bangkok and its people, and you can even visit some of the lesser-known temples and landmarks that are not typically included in the standard tourist itineraries.
