I'm a physiotherapist and need low dose aspirin (81 mg) to use as an antiplatelet drug to prevent a stroke.

I've found a cheap alternative to prescription blood thinners in Bangkok. It's a low-dose aspirin available at any pharmacy, typically in a 100mg dose.

Thank you for the information, but I'm not planning to adjust my dose to 100mg; I'm happy with my current regimen.

Aspirin is commonly used as a blood thinner worldwide, and the standard dose is usually 100mg. Interestingly, taking 81mg is also effective due to its low dose, so it's not a concern if you take either amount.

When I need a refill, I simply take my old packet to the pharmacy and they give me a new supply.

In Bangkok, I've found this medication under different names, including Aspent-m, B-Aspirin, and Aspilets, all with an 81mg dose.

I've tried looking for this medication at big pharmacies in malls and near hospitals, but unfortunately, they didn't carry it.

Most pharmacies in Bangkok have this medication, but they may not call it 'baby aspirin'; simply ask for 81mg aspirin.
