Zumana Opens Its Doors at Sunset Bay, Kuta

Just last Saturday, I had the chance to visit the brand new Zumana at Sunset Bay, Kuta. It’s a stunning transformation from the old Ocean 27 site, right in front of Discovery Mall and Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel in Tuban.

The view from the entrance is breathtaking. As you step through the long corridor, the panoramic view of Kuta Beach and the Indian Ocean bursts into sight. The centerpiece is the 10-meter sculpture, Zenía, by Daniel Popper, which really draws you into the natural world.

Once you enter the venue, you are greeted by beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, multiple bars, and an open-air dance floor that overlooks the Indian Ocean. The DJs are perfectly positioned under and inside the sculpture, Zenía, to provide the perfect sound experience.

Zumana, part of the Savaya Group, is the latest addition to the island's nightlife scene, designed by the renowned Rockwell Group. The venue is a blend of style, grace, and practicality with immaculate finishing. The group’s previous projects, including Savaya, have won international design and nightlife awards.

For those coming to Kuta for the first time, it might seem like a challenge. But with its proximity to the airport, its white sands, and its lineup of big-name DJs, Zumana is sure to be a hit. They will be hosting their Grand Opening on September 25 and 26 with a lineup of top DJs.

Also, their separate restaurant, Manuza, will be opening soon. It will offer a fusion of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine.
