While many long-timers in Bali have grown accustomed to the island's ever-evolving culinary scene, the latest additions to the food and beverage landscape continue to excite and captivate residents and visitors alike. Two new high-end steakhouse options, Riserva Steakhouse in Ubud and Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Seminyak, have recently opened their doors, offering a taste of premium dining experiences.

Riserva Steakhouse, a contemporary European grill restaurant, is the latest addition to The Wonderspace portfolio. Located within Equipoise Resort, the intimate steakhouse offers a carefully paced dining experience, starting with arrival rituals like the Gong Ritual and Foot Wash Ritual. Chef Putu Armen's menu celebrates premium ingredients, including wagyu cuts, and is complemented by a curated wine programme. The restaurant welcomes both resort guests and visitors, with reservations essential for one seating per night from 5pm to 10pm.

Meanwhile, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, born in Manhattan, brings a distinctly American character to Petitenget, Seminyak. Known for its dry-aged USDA Prime beef, the restaurant offers a classic American steakhouse experience with a focus on premium ingredients and old-school hospitality. Chef Amiro Cruz's approach to cooking highlights the natural juices and tenderness of the meat, creating a sense of occasion for diners.

For expats and digital nomads in Bali, these new openings offer a chance to explore new dining experiences and indulge in high-quality steakhouse fare. Whether you're in Ubud for a more ritualistic experience or Seminyak for a classic American steakhouse atmosphere, these new additions to the dining scene are well worth a visit.
