I'm visiting Los Angeles for the weekend and I'd love to go to the Magic Castle for dinner tonight. I've heard it's a bit tricky to get in, but I've brought a nice dress and heels and I'm hoping someone can add me to their reservation list.

If you're having trouble getting tickets, consider reaching out to active duty military personnel. They often have a simpler process for getting seated.

I've heard that performers might have extra tickets available. You could try messaging them directly to see if they can help you out.

It's worth noting that members of the guild or league can often get you an invitation. You could try messaging someone who is part of it and asking if they can help you out. In the past, this was a common way to get in.

The rules for getting into a certain magician's show have changed since the new owners took over. According to what I've been told, the magician can only get someone in on the day they're performing, and it needs to be scheduled and approved in advance.

To find a performer or magician, try searching for them on Instagram. You can then send them a direct message.

I've heard that the owner of a certain restaurant in the Hollywood area occasionally shares invitations on a local neighborhood group. However, be aware that the restaurant is quite pricey, and you'd need to have dinner there as part of the invitation. If you're traveling alone, you might want to consider whether you'd like to occupy a table and eat alone before asking for the favor of an invitation.

Don't forget to check the dress code for the event and follow it. It's also a good idea to have fun and enjoy yourself!
