Why was Water For Elephants cancelled

Why was Water For Elephants cancelled at Gammage?

We went to the theater last night and they turned us away at the parking garage telling us the show was cancelled. We're not sure why, but the reason given was that 'too many crew called out'. This sounds really strange to us.

I'm excited to see a performance today, but I'm getting a bit worried. I've been checking the theater's social media and seeing comments from people who are saying that some of the actors are unwell. Apparently, nine of them are out sick, which doesn't sound good for my matinee show.

I also have tickets for the matinee performance, and I'm following the situation to see if there are any updates.

Bad flu going around everywhere!

The current illness situation might be a factor in the show's status. Could be that the theater is struggling to find replacements for the affected actors.

Maybe try to call the box office. I imagine that is not an easy thing to do. Good luck!

We had tickets for the previous night's show, but unfortunately, we didn't get to see it. We received an email this morning explaining the situation.
