Will the Hockey Hall of Fame be open on Canadian Thanksgiving?

I'm planning a visit to the Hall of Fame in Toronto on Canadian Thanksgiving, but the website doesn't say if they're closed. I'm worried about an unwelcome surprise.

If it's a Monday, I'd bet the place is closed.

When I called, the automated message didn't offer the option to speak with a person. However, I did manage to speak with someone at the gift shop, who mentioned that one staff member was on indefinite leave.

Thanksgiving is a relatively low-key holiday, but it's still a statutory holiday, which means many places are closed. Some tourist attractions might stay open, but it's always best to check the website to confirm.
