Vintage and Artisan Market Launching in Honest Ed’s Alley This Weekend
Winter might be around the corner, but Toronto’s downtown is getting a little more festive this Saturday, October 17, with the launch of The Alley Bazaar in Honest Ed’s Alley. The event, organized by the team behind Kensington Flea, promises a gathering of local makers, vintage finds, and independent brands, adding a bit of Kensington Market energy to the redeveloped Mirvish Village area.

Expect to find a range of artisanal goods, including art, jewelry, vintage clothing, and handmade items. The grand opening will feature more than 20 vendors, with additional opportunities to explore new small businesses opening along the alley. The launch also marks the grand opening of the Bazaar Gift Shop at 30 Lennox St., offering a curated selection of gifts, home décor, and everyday items from independent makers and designers.
As the Honest Ed’s Alley continues to transform, the location offers a unique mix of history and modern retail. The original Honest Ed’s discount store was a landmark for nearly 70 years, and now the area is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and pedestrian-friendly spaces. The Alley Bazaar will be a one-off event this year, but organizers plan to bring it back every weekend starting in May 2027, with a rotating lineup of vendors.
