Paint Your Own Monet Masterpiece on a Cake in Toronto
Evana Cafe & Lounge in Dundas West is shaking things up with a new twist on the paint-and-sip tradition. For $58 to $68, you can unleash your inner Monet-or just let your imagination run wild-on a cake, rather than a canvas.

The event, called Cake Paint Night, offers a cute and unique way to spend an evening. You’ll get a 9.5-by-7-inch cake to work with, choose from vanilla bean or chocolate flavors, and have access to colorful buttercream and other painting supplies. No need to worry about crumb coats or blending palettes; just spread the frosting around like you would paint on a canvas.
The theme is Monet-inspired, with soft blues, pastel greens, and floral dabs. But you’re free to create your own masterpiece. The guided theme offers soft blues, pastel greens, and floral dabs, but you can also pipe on anything from cartoons to random patterns. Don’t forget to snap a photo before you dig in!
Seats are limited, so early birds pay $58, while regular admission is $68. The café is tight inside, so grab your spot soon. And remember, you’ll want to take a picture before you break out the fork and eat the whole thing on the way home.
