I'll be staying in an Airbnb called Mango - King Suite with my girlfriend and her family. The Airbnb is six minutes from downtown and somehow in the jungle. We've heard there are snakes and scorpions in the area. Are encounters with them rare, or do they get into the houses?

I was at my bar in Sayulita and the power went out. I'm not sure when it will be back on.

We're arriving in Sayulita tomorrow, and Hurricane Polo has been upgraded to a hurricane, but the forecast shows it staying offshore. We're staying near the town square, close to the hotel Haifa.
