Plenilunio 2026: A Weekend of Adventure and Exploration in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
From October 2-4, Santa Cruz de Tenerife will transform into a hub of excitement with the 18th edition of Plenilunio, a festival celebrating the four elements. This year’s theme invites participants to explore a range of activities tailored to personal interests, from adrenaline-pumping zip-lining to family-friendly workshops and historical tours.

Adventure seekers can test their skills with zip-lining, skateboarding, or BMX, while families can enjoy interactive activities like 'The Floor is Lava' or crafts workshops. History enthusiasts will appreciate guided tours through Santa Cruz’s unique cemeteries or the Masonic Temple, offering a deeper connection to the city’s past. The opening night will feature a breathtaking drone show depicting the four elements, scheduled for 8:30 PM and 10:00 PM along the beachfront promenade.
The Rambla de Santa Cruz will host workshops for children to create kites and other crafts, while the Capitanía General will open its doors for an open day, allowing visitors to explore its intriguing spaces and witness a performance by the Canary Islands Music Uni. These events are a must-see for anyone looking to experience the culture and diverse activities that Santa Cruz de Tenerife has to offer.
