Puerto Vallarta Announces Free Fiestas Patrias Schedule for September 13-16
Puerto Vallarta's municipal government has announced a free four-day Fiestas Patrias program to celebrate the 216th anniversary of Mexico's Independence. The events, taking place in Plaza de Armas and the Malecón, will include various cultural activities such as a civic ceremony, charro parade, and a DJ performance. The city's Mayor Luis Munguía will deliver the Grito de Independencia and fireworks will be held on the final night.

- Sunday, September 13, will start with a civic ceremony at 8:00 AM.
- Monday, September 14, will feature National Charrería Day with a charro parade at 10:00 AM.
- Tuesday, September 15, will see free events including DJ performances and a civic-military parade at 8:00 AM and fireworks at midnight.
- Wednesday, September 16, will conclude with a civic act and parade.
The event aims to bring the community together and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Puerto Vallarta. Residents and visitors are invited to join in the festivities, which are free and will feature street closures along the Malecón.
