Fair parking tips for the Phoenix Fair?
I'm planning to attend the Phoenix Fair on a Friday at midday, but the parking fee is $25 and the college shuttle doesn't start running until 5 pm. Any other recommendations for parking?

Free parking can be found on certain streets near the railroad tracks on McDowell Road. Specifically, you can park on N 21st Avenue or N 22nd Avenue. The surrounding area consists of businesses and industrial sites, so you don't have to worry about receiving parking tickets or having your vehicle towed. I've been parking in this location for over a decade without any issues.

I'm not sure if parking at Encanto is still an option. However, if it's not, you can consider parking a few blocks away and walking to the fair. The walk is relatively short and takes you around the corner. In years when we didn't want to pay for parking, this was our go-to spot.
