Phoenix Groups Join Forces to Offer Health Care and Meals in Neediest Areas
Phoenix-based We Feed the People With Love has teamed up with Spectrum Medical Care Center to provide essential health services and nourishment to underserved communities in the city. This partnership aims to bridge the gap in access to healthcare and basic needs, especially during the scorching summer months.

With Phoenix breaking heat records year after year, getting to a doctor’s office or a meal can be a significant challenge for those without stable housing, reliable transportation, or air conditioning. The mobile medical clinic from Spectrum Medical Care Center will offer HIV testing, PrEP consultations, and sexual health education directly to neighborhoods, community gatherings, and heat relief sites. Meanwhile, We Feed the People With Love has been delivering hot meals, cold water, fentanyl test strips, and Narcan when needed.
This collaboration means that residents in need can receive healthcare and food assistance without having to brave the extreme heat. If you or someone you know lives in an underserved area of Phoenix, expect to see these services becoming more accessible in the coming months. Stay tuned for updates on where and when these services will be available.
