Why are there so many accidents on I-4 on Halloween night?

I was driving back from Tampa last night and saw a lot of damaged cars on I-4 between midnight and 2am. I'm used to seeing accidents on I-4, but not this many at once.

It's Halloween, and people are taking advantage of an extra hour to party. The time change has shifted the late-night hours, so people are staying out until 1am instead of 2am. The bad weather hasn't helped the situation either.

I've worked on nights like Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, and other busy evenings. I've since moved on to more professional and less chaotic shifts.
