Why is East Village crowded today?

I normally walk into Porto Rico and grab some beans on a Saturday, but today there was a line out the door and I'm not sure what's going on.

Also OHNY, so lots of extra tourists. It's an annual event that brings in a lot of visitors.

The East Village is known for its annual dog parade, which brings in a huge number of people and makes it one of the busiest days of the year.
