Where can I find a honey bun in New York?
I'm looking for a classic honey bun, not one of those fancy artisanal versions. I've been walking around the city for a while and haven't found one yet.

For a genuine honey bun experience, head to a bodega in Queens or Brooklyn. They often stock them alongside Drake's cakes and powdered donuts. Corner stores in these neighborhoods seem to have a knack for carrying a wide variety of honey buns. On the other hand, avoid upscale delis and organic markets, which tend to offer overpriced, artisanal alternatives that don't quite hit the mark.

You're talking about those classic Hostess-style honey buns, right? I've found that bodegas in New York often carry a surprisingly diverse selection of honey buns, with multiple varieties to choose from. In fact, I've seen as many as six different types at a single bodega. It's a far cry from the limited options I was used to before moving to the city.
