I'm planning to travel to Bali in March and want to know what to expect on the Day of Silence, which may overlap with Ramadan.

A few years ago, we were confined to our resort on Nyepi Day, but we were still able to dine, swim, and enjoy various activities within the resort. The front entrance was covered with a massive tarpaulin, and in the evenings, we enjoyed candlelit dining. The experience was quite fascinating, especially with the unique setup.

Nyepi is a unique experience that resorts in Bali are well-equipped to handle. You can expect them to provide suitable accommodations and activities for the day.

We had a wonderful time at the Legian Street resort a few years ago during Nyepi. The resort facilities were available to us, and I enjoyed relaxing spa treatments, lounging by the pool, and reading a book. It was a truly enjoyable experience.
