Local Bone Artists?

Local Bone Artists?
服务 4 answers • Florencia
I'm looking for a local artist or taxidermist in Tampa who creates jewelry that incorporates animal bones and teeth. I've seen similar work at Tiger Dust and local markets, but I don't recall any particular business names. My cat had to have her teeth removed and I'd love to incorporate them into a wearable piece and support someone from the community.

If you're looking for vendors who sell unique items, I've got some suggestions. When I was in Tampa, I frequented the Indie Flea market, where I saw a vendor creating stunning silver rings with cat teeth. These teeth are particularly delicate, which makes them perfect for such jewelry. To find similar items, you could try searching Etsy and filtering the results by location to Tampa. Some market sellers only operate in-person, but they often have online shop pages where you can contact them. Additionally, you could ask the staff at Tiger Dust if they keep records of vendors who have participated in their events.

Your idea of checking with oddities shops to see if they have vendor lists is a great one. I also didn't know that Etsy allows you to filter by location, which is a useful feature. I've seen various businesses at craft markets in Tampa and St. Pete, but I've been unable to remember their names. I appreciate your help and the time you've taken to assist me.

Bone Lust is a regional business, but not based in Tampa.
