I really hate the taste of Dallas tap water and I'm trying to reduce my plastic water bottle usage. Does anyone have experience with the Ninja Watersense filter and its effectiveness with Dallas tap water?

As someone who grew up on the east coast, I find the taste of Texas tap water to be too hard and mineral-rich for my liking. I imagine that people who have grown up in the area are accustomed to it.

A water filter can make a noticeable difference in the taste of tap water, which is now more similar to filtered water.

Dallas Water Utilities uses chloramine for disinfection, which is a major contributor to the taste of tap water. It's worth checking a filter's specifications to see if it can handle chloramine, as many only claim to remove chlorine taste and odor. The city's annual water quality report lists the actual contents of the water supply, making it a more reliable resource than marketing materials.
