Has anyone actually been towed by Indigo parking?

I'm on my 3rd unpaid Indigo parking ticket, and I plan to continue not paying them. I find it pretty ridiculous that they won’t waive a ticket when you can show that you registered for parking and made a one-character typo and/or where at a business in the building for the period in a lot with “free parking” for said business.

I've been towed a couple times from downtown lots. People often don't believe me when I say that. It's probably a bit different from random lots around the city, but still. If you don't pay your parking ticket, you're trespassing on private property, and the city will tow your car. I've noticed that they sometimes do a huge sweep of tows in downtown areas. When I got towed, I saw around 10 tow trucks come by and tow a bunch of cars.

They only have your license plate number. If you get a new plate at the registry, they won't be able to identify your car.

We visited a friend at a condo complex that uses a parking enforcement company. We registered our plate for 2 hours and then walked back out to grab something from our car. An attendant was putting a ticket on the windshield, claiming it was too late because we hadn't registered when he first drove up. We contacted the supervisor, who offered to cut the fine in half. We declined and refused to pay.

I've been in a similar situation twice. The first time, the ticket was waived because the registration and ticket times were only one minute apart. However, when it happened again, they refused to waive the ticket, claiming it was only a courtesy once. I argued that it takes more than a minute to walk from the car to the lobby and scan and register. They insisted the ticket was valid and sent me a notice to pay. I ignored it and would consider taking them to small claims court if they towed my car on this basis.
