New $26-Million Rocky Ridge Athletic Park Opens in Calgary

Just in time for fall, a brand new $26-million athletic park has opened its doors in northwest Calgary. If you’re an avid sports fan or simply someone who enjoys outdoor activities, this news might just be the highlight of your week.

What’s New at Rocky Ridge? The park features two artificial turf fields with spectator seating, lighting for evening events, and even parking. These multi-use fields are perfect for hosting a variety of sports, including soccer, football, and rugby, making it a go-to spot for local teams and organizations. According to the City of Calgary, the park is currently available for bookings on Thursdays from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
