Padang Padang Surf Camp Adds New Land-Based Facilities for Enhanced Training
Since its inception in 2005, Padang Padang Surf Camp has expanded its offerings with the addition of a new surf skate bowl and pump track, along with a sauna and ice bath. These new facilities aim to complement the existing coaching approach, providing surfers with more opportunities to refine their skills on land before they venture into the ocean.

Coaches can now use the skate bowl and track to help surfers practice techniques that are difficult to isolate in the ocean, offering a practical way to repeat movements and receive feedback. For beginners, the covered flat surface allows for controlled development of balance and confidence, while more experienced surfers can use the facilities to enhance their speed, rhythm, and turn linking.
The new recovery area, featuring a handcrafted Javanese teak sauna and ice bath, complements the camp's existing offerings, enabling guests to integrate heat and cold therapy into their recovery routine. These additions mark Padang Padang Surf Camp's commitment to providing comprehensive support for surfers looking to improve and recover effectively.
