Moving large plants from Fidi to Greenpoint?

Moving large plants from Fidi to Greenpoint?

Транспорт 7 answers • Marisol IMarisol I
My office is giving away some really nice large plants that I'd love to take home. They're around 5ft each in big planters, and I'd probably be able to grab 1-3 of them. I wouldn't be able to fit these in any car and would probably be crazy bringing them into the subway.

You could take the subway and bring a small dolly, but you'll need to find a station with an elevator to make it easier.

Bring it on the subway.

I once witnessed a situation on the subway at 42nd Street where a person was trying to load 10-15 large plants, which caused a delay and required the police to intervene.

However, there's a significant difference between moving a few small plants and relocating a large quantity of them.

To transport large plants in a car, I wrap plastic bags around the planters to prevent soil from spilling, then lay the plants on their side to contain the leaves and branches.
