I'm planning to retake the law revalidation exam in Puerto Rico and I'm looking for feedback on review courses or study materials. Has anyone had any experience with these?

Review courses probably start after the current month. If you want, I can also help you out. There are about 4 or 5 review courses I know of, it just depends on what you're looking for. One of them is a comprehensive course that covers all the necessary material.

Those who chose Shorter felt comfortable with the material, but it's more self-study since it's a class for 4 hours over 2-3 weeks. None of the people I know who took Team Pass recommend it, they say it was disorganized and sometimes the resources they provided didn't help much.

I think it's better to wait until the results are out to make comments, people might think they passed and then they don't, or vice versa. From my previous experience, each review course provides something different and people pay expecting something else. Velazquez is an excellent teacher and his 4-hour courses are widely used, but I didn't take them myself. Shorter is good, but people don't understand how to use it, it's good for the last month and as a review.

I have a license from another state but I want to get the PR one. I'm not sure if studying for the revalidation exam in PR is possible without having studied law in PR.

Yes, it's possible to study for the revalidation exam in PR without having studied law in PR, but it will be a lot of work to adapt your mind to the laws here.
