I currently pay $110 for 500mbps internet in North Scottsdale and am looking for a more affordable option that is reliable and does not involve mobile lines.

Verify your address on the Federal Communications Commission's broadband map to see if any fiber-optic internet service providers are available in your area. This could provide a clearer picture of your options and potentially lead to cost savings over time.

I was able to get Cox to lower my price to $105 a month for a gig unlimited plan by calling them and asking them to adjust to Spectrum. You might be able to negotiate a similar deal.

I switched from Cox to Spectrum online and saved $45 on my 2 gig unlimited plan. It's worth checking if you can get a similar deal.

I swapped from 300 mb to a gig for $70 for the first year, which is a good deal. However, it goes back to $100 after that, so keep an eye on your contract.

I use T-Mobile for my internet and it works great for me, but I only need it for basic tasks. If you need something more reliable, you might want to consider other options. I get around 200-300 down and 5 up, which is sufficient for my needs.

Knock on wood, but I've found T-Mobile to be extremely reliable for my needs. However, if you have a hardcore gamer in the house, they might experience some lag compared to fiber, especially if they're playing FPS games.
