Marumi: A New Must-Visit Eat-And-Stay Spot in Warsaw
As an expat in Warsaw for nearly a decade, I've seen my fair share of dining experiences. But the new kid on the block, Marumi, is definitely making waves. Located at the corner of Krucza 50, Marumi has quickly become a go-to spot for those seeking a unique blend of dining and nightlife.

The prices at Marumi might make you do a double take. For instance, their beef tartare, a dish that used to be a regular on many expat menus, now costs a pretty penny. It’s now around PLN 150, up from the previous PLN 120. The tempura uramaki, another crowd-pleaser, has also seen a price hike, now costing PLN 100 compared to the old PLN 80.
Despite the cost, Marumi is worth every zloty. The kitchen has outdone itself with dishes like the Sichuan-style duck, which offers a perfect balance of flavors, and the dessert, which is a delightful surprise. The restaurant’s ambiance, complete with DJ sets, adds to the experience, making it a perfect spot for socializing and enjoying Warsaw’s scene.
For expats and digital nomads like myself, Marumi is a place to keep an eye on. While the prices are a bit steep, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it a must-visit. Whether you’re looking for a quiet dinner or a lively night out, Marumi has got you covered.
