Just a few days ago, the Instituto de Desarrollo Rural (INDER) announced a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of rural residents in Quepos, Garabito, and Parrita. These actions, which include the provision of new motors, debt condonations, and support for agricultural activities, are bringing tangible benefits to the community, making life easier and more secure for many families.

First, 14 new motors were provided to fishing families in Quepos, with seven more in Tárcoles de Garabito and six in Esterillos de Parrita. These modern motors will not only improve the safety and efficiency of fishing but also reduce costs and emissions. Additionally, 20 families in Los Ángeles de Parrita received debt condonations, freeing them from financial burdens and allowing them to focus on productive activities. Finally, the INDER extended the contract for Coopeparrita Tropical, ensuring the continued use of the Trukutú land for agricultural purposes.

These actions are particularly significant for expats and digital nomads living in Tamarindo, as they directly affect the quality of life in the region. Whether you're a fisherman or an agricultural enthusiast, these developments mean more stability and opportunity in your daily life. Stay informed and prepared for the positive changes coming to the area.
