Puerto Morelos Gets Closer to Its Residents with Mobile Registration Services

Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz, the current president of Puerto Morelos, is making waves by bringing the necessary paperwork right to the doorstep of her residents. In a move that truly measures the city in BTS stops and commute minutes, the Registro Civil has launched a Registro Civil Itinerante program, which has already made 12 trips to various communities in the area.

During these 12 brigadas, the team provided copias certificadas, registros de nacimiento, matrimonios, and CURP impresión for a total of 280 people, including 100 women, 80 men, and 100 infants. This initiative has processed a total of 4,149 actos registrales, a 36.2% increase from the previous period, benefiting 4,579 individuals.
