I'm looking for a place to play poker in downtown Toronto, but I've found that there are no casinos in the area. I've tried searching online but couldn't find much.

If you're looking for a more conventional experience, Woodbine Racetrack is an option. Alternatively, there are several underground clubs scattered throughout the city, but their quality can vary greatly. You might need to explore a bit to find one that suits your taste.

I tried searching online, but didn't find much information. Are you looking for a specific type of club or experience?

Underground poker clubs in Toronto tend to operate discreetly, and it's not uncommon for them to be located in non-descript areas like Spadina. You usually need to know someone to get in.

How can you be certain that the games are fair and above-board? I recall a time when I played a game where someone used a clever trick to cheat.

While Great Canadian Casino and Woodbine Race Track are two separate entities, they do share some similarities in terms of their offerings.

Scarborough is home to some of the best underground poker clubs in Toronto, but it's worth noting that not all of them are well-run or safe.
