I'm traveling to Halifax next week with my kids and I'd like to know if there are any indoor play places where they can burn off some energy.

There's an indoor trampoline park called Get Air where you can bounce around.

They've recently renovated the trampoline park and it's now a huge play space with a multi-level design, similar to the old McDonald's play areas. It's super fun for kids, but I found it really challenging to keep an eye on my 3-year-old, who was running around and playing with the other kids.

To avoid the crowds, consider visiting on Sundays between 8 and 10 am or on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10 am and 12 pm, when it's generally less busy.

My Sons Place in Dartmouth or the trampoline park across the street from it is a great option.

The Halifax Commons has an outdoor paved track called The Oval where people can borrow skateboards, scooter boards, and different sizes and shapes of bikes for free to play with.

The Discover Halifax website has a useful guide for families with kids.
