I've seen a few parking lots around Dallas with a bunch of used Teslas. They're not in a dealership, but they all have registration stickers and some have license plates. It looks like they're just sitting there.

I think it's old leases and rental cars that are no longer in demand. Perhaps they're being held for an auction or some other purpose.

Old leases and rentals are usually sold quickly at auctions, as long as the price is right.

I've seen a similar lot in the medical district filled with unwanted Tesla inventory. It's pretty interesting to see all those cars in one place, and I've noticed that some of them have been there for quite a while.

I saw a similar lot with Cybertrucks a few months ago, it was on Maple and it was packed with them.

I live across the street from one of these lots and it brings a smile to my face every time I see it.

I think Tesla is using public property to store its unsold vehicles. This is an interesting use of public space.
