I saw some kids selling chocolates outside the NSLC and they asked me to e-transfer. I'm not sure if I should be concerned about a scam.

I bought chocolate from them and had no issues, but I did have cash. It's possible that the e-transfer process is just a way for them to get paid.

I've seen them selling outside the NSLC too, and I always just say no thanks. It's suspicious that they're selling at night, and you're right to be cautious about clicking on links from text messages.

Yeah, I never click on links from text messages anymore. If it's important, my bank will send an email or I'll wait for the cops. Can't be too careful anymore.

I knew someone who sold for a company in Canada, and the cash just goes to an adult in charge. I'm not sure if that's a scam or not, but it doesn't sound legit. The person I know was paid in cash, which seemed unusual.

I bought their almonds and didn't click on the link to redeem the e-transfer. Maybe that means they still need to accept it, but I'm not sure.
