I'm a 6'4, average build white male, used to rougher areas, heading to a concert in Atlanta. I need to know if I should pay for an Uber or walk/take the bus to the Greyhound station.

Walking alone at night in that area is a gamble I wouldn't take.

I'm generally a laid-back person when it comes to street safety, but I'd definitely avoid that route, day or night, and probably take a longer route to avoid it.

The Greyhound station is notorious for being a high-crime area, and I'd advise being cautious when visiting.

My advice is to steer clear of Greyhound altogether, even if you don't plan to walk. The moment you step off the bus, you'll be in a rather intimidating environment.
