How to visit Chichen Itza and two cenotes in one day from Playa del Carmen?

I'm planning a trip to Playa del Carmen in March and want to visit Chichen Itza, Cenote Suytun, and Cenote Ik Kil Cenote in one day. I'd like to know if it's better to book a guided excursion or hire a driver for the day. I'll be traveling with 3 others.

Eight hours seems like a tight schedule to fit in three experiences, don't you think?

You can hire a private driver or tailor a service for your group of four. We've been using them for a long time, so pick the best option for your trip.

If you want to visit the most touristic cenotes, sticking to a tour might be the way to go.

I highly recommend a private tour. We visited a few sites last month and our guide was fantastic.

What was the approximate cost of the private tour we're considering?

2 1/2 hours each way, visiting Chichen Itza and two cenotes in one day is not recommended. I strongly suggest only visiting one cenote.

Thanks for the advice. I might consider visiting the two cenotes and skipping Chichen Itza.
