The best water of my life came out of a stranger's bike bag

At 4pm in August on Roosevelt Row my car air conditioning broke, and I was standing next to it with the hood up and sweat running into my eyes. A woman on a bike stopped, handed me a bottle of ice cold water from her bag, said, keep it, and rode off. It was the best water of my life. It was also the only thing keeping me upright for forty minutes. I carry two extra bottles in the car now. I have given away six. Nobody has thanked me as well as I thanked her.
