Is Southern Nights safe at night?

I went to Southern Nights last weekend and had my phone stolen while I was dancing. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Two Fridays ago, my phone was swiped. It wasn't turned back on until it was in Miami, where it's currently located. I wish the authorities would take action, but I'm not sure what options are available to them. Unfortunately, phone theft is a common problem in that area.

Was your phone in a purse or pocket when it was stolen? I've noticed that there are plenty of warning signs around the area. It's astonishing that someone would steal a phone. If you can, consider filing a police report, especially since the phone's location is still unclear. Good luck with your situation.

This is a common occurrence at Southern. Especially on crowded nights. Don't even bother going during EDC weekend. That's the worst weekend of the year.
