AT&T Fiber outage in Chicago?

Transport 3 tyg. temu 5 answers • Frank S

I'm a co-working space owner in Chicago and I need to know what to do when AT&T Fiber is out in the city. I have a meeting with a supplier tonight and I need to stay connected. Can anyone tell me what the estimated restoration time is and how to report the outage to get a credit on my bill?

I'm experiencing terrible data speeds on AT&T Fiber in the suburbs. The issue seems to be widespread, and I'm wondering if it's related to a recent outage.

My internet has been out for an hour, and I took the day off work. It's a bummer, but at least it's not a critical issue for most people anymore.

The estimated repair time has been pushed back to midnight, which is concerning given the sudden nature of the outage.

Fortunately, my internet just came back on, and I'm hoping it's a sign that the issue is resolving for everyone.

The outage started around noon, and it came back on about 2:30 for me. It's annoying, but at least I got a more accurate estimate of the repair time than the initial text message.
