I've asked a few locals here and there and have had stuff like Babi Guling, Nasi Campur, mee goreng, rendang, ayam batutu etc. Where I come from there are absolutely no Indonesian restaurants so I’m trying to make the most of my holiday here.

One of my favorite Indonesian treats is Terang bulan, a sweet crumpet pancake with various toppings like condensed milk, chocolate, cheese, banana, and Nutella, which can be found at a kaki Lima. Another unique dish is Otak otak, a savory custard with fish mince baked inside a banana leaf, which can be found in some chain restaurants like MM juice.
