Is Tulum, Mexico a good destination for a Babymoon?

I'm a frequent traveler to Tulum for work and family visits, and I'm 30 weeks pregnant, planning a relaxing Babymoon in early November, looking for a beach destination with decent prices and no high-adventure activities.

The beach in Tulum might not live up to your expectations, and you'll likely find the prices higher than anticipated.

In November, sargassum won't be an issue, so you'll be able to enjoy the beaches. There's more to do in Tulum than just beaches - you can go into town, explore the cenotes and lagoons, and it's not as expensive as you might think. Yes, Tulum is a bit pricey compared to other Mexican cities, but it's more affordable than coastal US cities. If you're not splurging on fancy beach clubs every day, you can go out pretty inexpensively. Just be aware that the fancy trendy beach clubs are expensive anywhere you go.

Tulum's remote location and limited medical facilities make it a less-than-ideal destination for pregnant travelers.

Tulum has become overpriced and lost its luster, but if you do decide to rent a car or moped, be prepared for frequent stops by the local police for inspections.
