My partner and I have 4 nights booked at Tokipa in Punta Sayulita between Christmas and New Year's, and I'm starting to second guess it. We're an older couple, no kids, just looking to relax. Our perfect day is playing cribbage, eating really good food, and having a few cocktails somewhere we can sit and people watch. Not into the party scene at all.

I've heard Sayulita has a lot of small, local businesses. I'll be visiting from Canada soon and want to know if many of the local restaurants, tiendas, and bars accept Apple Pay or if I should always carry my physical credit card.

I'm planning a trip to Sayulita in December with my young adult children (18-23). We'll be renting golf carts, but I want to know if it's better to stay in the city or on the outskirts. My kids will appreciate the freedom to drive around, but I'm worried about the noise and chaos of the city center. From experience, do you regret staying in the city or on the outskirts? Would love input.

I'll be staying in an Airbnb called Mango - King Suite with my girlfriend and her family. The Airbnb is six minutes from downtown and somehow in the jungle. We've heard there are snakes and scorpions in the area. Are encounters with them rare, or do they get into the houses?

I'll be in Sayulita next week for a few days. I've been there many times and only had an internet issue once, but I've never been there during the rainy season. I just need to be able to text for work. Should I anticipate any issues next week?

I'm a Canadian visiting Sayulita a couple of times a year, looking for a hotel with a pool and a restaurant for a 2-week solo trip, where I can have a comfy home base to relax and enjoy the hotel's amenities without feeling the need to leave every day.
