I've been looking for a good pumpkin pie in Montreal, but it seems like it's not as popular as it is in other parts of Canada. I've checked a few grocery stores and cafes in the area, but I haven't found any.

Have you tried Costco? They usually have pumpkin pie starting in October, and it's a pretty good deal for 7.99 CAD for 1.8kg.

I think the St. Donat ones are fine. They have a few locations in the city, and I've had their pie before. It's not bad at all.

I actually found a decent pumpkin pie at the Walmart in LaSalle yesterday. The crust wasn't the best, but the filling was pretty good.

I haven't found a great pumpkin pie in the city yet, but I've heard that there are some good pie stands at Atwater market. You might want to try checking those out. Alternatively, making your own pumpkin pie is actually pretty easy.
