I'm training for the Philly Marathon and need to find new places to run in Miami. I've done Key Biscayne, but I'm looking for more options with long, uninterrupted space for my long runs, which are getting up to 18 miles.

I like to start my runs at the Venetian and head south to the South Pointe Walk, covering 13 miles. If I want to increase the distance, I can extend the route along the beach walk. I've found it's a great way to mix up my training.

I'm training for a half marathon at the Granada Golf Course, which is conveniently located near my home. If you're interested in joining me for some training sessions, I'd be happy to have you along.

I often loop around Country Club Prado and the golf course. While it's not the longest route, it's a safe and low-traffic option that's close to uninterrupted running.

You can combine the two loops to create a 5-mile route, allowing you to do laps. Alternatively, you can explore the Gables neighborhoods, which are known for being low-traffic and shaded.

Running from South Pointe and along the boardwalk is a great way to experience the area's scenic views.
