Is the Miami River supposed to look like this?

I've been walking along the river walk and almost the entire thing looked like a big oil slick this week. It's super sad to see.

It's due to sargazzo the seaweed.

The river has always been polluted, but it's not like anyone cares. My dad used to have to dive in it all the time and it was a joke in our family. Reporting it might not do anything, but it's worth a shot.
