I've done this trip several times last year, but I'm looking for any tips from those who have also done it. The worst part is the last 1.5 hours from home.

I recall trying it once in my twenties. It was a terrible experience. To stay awake during long drives, I found that eating spicy food like jalapeños can be helpful.

The final leg of the trip can be quite unpleasant.

As a frequent traveler, I'm accustomed to long drives. However, the real challenge isn't the driving itself, but the fact that you're constantly on your feet at events, only to get back behind the wheel exhausted. This can make the return trip even more grueling, as you're more likely to take extra rest breaks.

I dislike driving, and Miami's traffic can be frustrating. Given that it takes an hour to get to and from places, adding another 2.5 hours to the trip can be a significant burden. On rainy days, I'd rather not take the risk.

If you've already completed this trip multiple times, I'm not sure what advice you're looking for. However, in the past, we've found that taking alternating days off from theme parks like Disney and Universal can be beneficial. For example, we'd leave Miami early on Saturday mornings and return late on Sunday afternoons. While this approach may not be ideal for everyone, it can make the experience more manageable.

I've done this trip before, and it was a mistake. With two friends, we were all exhausted during the final 90 minutes of the return drive, which made us drive recklessly. I strongly advise against attempting this trip.

In the past, when Disney was more affordable, people would often take the turnpike from Miami to the theme park and back. To stay awake during the return drive, it's helpful to have someone to talk to. Additionally, stopping at regular intervals to stretch and walk around can be beneficial in preventing drowsiness.

I'm considering the Brightline as an alternative to driving. While it may have its drawbacks, it could be a more convenient option for traveling to and from Miami.
