What to do in Mexico City?

I've got a friend from Asia coming to visit for a few days, and she's asked me to show her around and teach her some salsa and cumbia dancing to end the day. I was thinking of taking her to Chapultepec, a bit of Roma, and ending at Mamarrumba. But I'm open to better ideas.

This is a good plan, but she'll be exhausted by the end of it, and I'm guessing you want to give her a good sendoff. I'd skip the Chapultepec forest or Mamarrumba.

If you've got all day, I'd recommend taking her to Metro Constituyentes, where you can take the cable bus to the cineteca. You can also visit the nearby park, which is quiet and well-maintained. From there, you can take the metro to Auditorio and walk to the castle. If she likes museums, there are a few nearby. You can rent a bike and ride around the lagoon, and then eat at a mirador in Torre Mayor or BBVA. End the day at Mamarrumba, it's a great way to cap off the night.
