Bali Cocktail Exchange Unveils Ubud's First Island-Wide Cocktail Gathering

For expats and digital nomads in Ubud, Indonesia, the inaugural Bali Cocktail Exchange (BCX) has arrived, promising to be a significant event that will reshape the local scene. Organized by the non-profit Yayasan Budaya Sajian Minuman Bali, the BCX is the first island-wide series of cocktail gatherings in Bali. It aims to unite local, Jakarta, and international bars across Ubud, Seminyak, and Canggu, fostering collaboration, education, and community programming.

From September 12-17, 2026, the six-day event kicks off in Ubud, followed by Seminyak and concludes in Canggu. The lineup includes elite international bars like COA, Penicillin, Native, and Hope & Sesame partnering with local Bali teams for guest shifts or experiences. There will also be six masterclasses led by industry leaders, a collaborative Q&A session, four networking brunches for bartenders, and a dedicated cocktail dinner pairing. The open-to-the-public Community Village in Canggu will feature tastings, brand activations, local spirits, a flair demonstration, the Balinese Speed Challenge, and traditional Balinese music and dance.
