Toronto’s Waterfront Glow: Festive Fireworks and Twinkling Lights for Holiday Cheer
As the November chill sets in, Toronto’s waterfront is transforming into a winter wonderland, complete with fire shows and twinkling lights. The annual HarbourFrost festival, running from November 20 to December 20, promises a magical holiday experience for locals and visitors alike.

Mark your calendars for the opening day, when a 33-foot Christmas tree lights up Community Square. Experience the magic with a performance by the InKloosiv Voices Choir, festive characters, and a free train ride called the Redpath Express. This little train will take you on a journey through the waterfront wonderland, past sparkling lights and holiday decorations.
The highlight of the festival is the Illuminair: Frost & Fire performances, where dazzling fire choreography will light up the waterfront. Hala Circus Arts will also bring magical winter characters to life with their roaming performers, hoops, dance, and stilt-walking. Skating is free at the Jumpstart Community Rink, so bring your own skates or rent a pair on-site.
