What can I expect from a part-time job at Walmart in the electronics area?

I work in the overnight shift at a large retail store. Dealing with customers, merchandise, and restocking during the day are key responsibilities. You should also know how to put merchandise in security, including using keepers and spiders. Having knowledge of various products, such as games, routers, and headphones, is beneficial. I get along well with some coworkers in that area, so I asked them and they told me that's what's expected.

You'll be alone and your department will not just be electronics

Whatever you do, don't hide or stash objects like Funkos, figures, or new games because at the end of the month, they'll want to transfer you to a different area and you'll have to take it or get fired. You'll also have to deal with rude customers, go to the storage room every day to fetch merchandise, and have hours of sick leave ready for a major shopping event. On the other hand, the electronics department is the coolest. Everything is more organized, but the managers are more strict in that area due to security issues.
